stuck with nothing

Nothing to do but time to kill.

Those days

I don’t know why and I don’t know what for..

It’s the holidays. One word associated with holidays –> FUN. I’m having none of it. :( However, since this is Brunei, the lack of fun is nonetheless expected. Brunei is one of those countries where entertainment is virtually non-existent. The phrase ‘non-existent’ might be too harsh so let me add this, yes there are fun things to do but when you’ve done and seen it all, what’s left? :?

What’s left? Hmm.. Brunei is big it’s a 5,765 square kilometres chunk of land so there must be something fun that I haven’t tried. So with that in mind and with a lot of ‘thinking outside of the box’, I have come up with a brilliant idea of catching crocodiles. There’s plenty of em’ in Brunei but no one ever seems to catch any so why not? It’s just like fishing but 400 times more the fun and 200 times more dangerous. Don’t they say danger always equate with fun?

Items needed in a croc hunt: big hooks, fishing lines, bait, a medium-sized boat, lots of duct-tape, ropes, sharp knives and/or parangs, camping gear, Crocodile Hunter DVDs and plenty of food (it’s gonna be a long hunt~). Oh yes, bravery , common sense and lots of stupidity is also needed. :D The location I’ve chosen is Anduki in Belait, according to tales I’ve heard, that’s where the crocs in Brunei hang-out. Pictures? Here, Croc pic #1 & Croc pic #2 (both taken in Anduki). It’s the ‘The Mall’ for reptiles and since this is holiday time, it will surely be full of crocs just like ‘The Mall’ is..

Anyone interested in my little ‘expedition’? Hmm.. I so want to catch a crocodile. Anyone? I have most of the items already, I just need the company. Preferably, must have some fishing and swimming experience (Note: Ability to float doesn’t count as swimming!).

It’s time to figure out why..
