There are many reasons why people start blogging. Most of the time, the reasons that people choose is wrong. Totally wrong. I, as the self-proclaimed (and undisputed WWE tag-team world champion of blogging) will now explain why those reasons are wrong.

> You’re blogging for the wrong reason if you say that you’re blogging to keep in touch. This is a big lie. No one absolutely gives a damn about what happens to you. It’s all an act. Even you, yourself pretend you’re interested in other people’s life. Blogging to keep in touch with friends is a myth.

> You’re blogging for the wrong reason if you say that it’s a hobby. Fishing is a hobby, drinking is a hobby but not blogging. Unless of course, you’re an ultra-geek or a super-nerd. Whoever blogs as a hobby will probably spend 17-23 hours a day in front of a PC. Blogging as a hobby is fatal.

> You’re blogging for the wrong reason when your blog is an hour-by-hour description of your day (plus picture goodness). This is sick, you’re sick. Research has shown that these types of blogs are frequented by crazy, demented, horny people a.k.a. stalkers. Besides pictures take so long to load.

> You’re blogging for the wrong reason when you check your own blog 21 times a day. Medically, it’s known as Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. I know you’ll use such excuses as ‘what if people tag me’ and ‘I like to reply to comments’. Bullshit! Delete you’re blog ASAP and don’t try to start a new one. If you don’t, you’ll end up lonely for life.

> You’re blogging for the wrong reason when your blog is filled with copy-and-paste stuff. Oh a sports blog! Oh a fashion blog! Oh a cooking blog! In university it’s called plagiarism. Face it, if you can’t come up with something original, it’s a sign that you shouldn’t blog. It’s like turtles trying to fly~
